Hongpeng Wang received the B.S. degree in physics, and the Ph.D degree in Control Theory & Control Engineering from Nankai University, Tianjin, China, in 2000 and 2009, respetively. Dr. Wang is currently an faculty in Institute of Robotics & Automatic Information System at Nankai University. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Systems, Virtual Reality and Intelligent Simulation, Cloud based/networked Nature Tele-observation, et al. Dr. Wang was a visiting research fellow at the NetBot Lab, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Texas A&M University during 2016-2017 & 2007-2008. He is a member of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society.

3、课题组简介 

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 

本课题组主要围绕人工智能与智能机器人技术、虚拟现实与智能仿真技术、智能医学与虚拟手术技术、自然生态环境智能化监测等科学与技术领域开展研究工作,目前具备多旋翼/倾转旋翼无人机试验系统(多套)、高速移动机器人实验系统、医疗手术机器人实验系统、虚拟机器人开发软件等研究平台。


课题组当前设立了如下实验室:

1) 野外与空中机器人实验室 Field and Aerial Robotic (FAR) Lab in Nankai; 

2) 虚拟现实与仿真实验室 Virtual Reality and Intelligenct Simulation (VRS) Lab in Nankai; 

3) 全场景智能外科手术实验室 Full-scene intelligent surgery laboratory(ISL) in Nankai;

4) 生态智能学工程研究中心 Ecology Intelligence Research (EIR) Center in Nankai


本课题组与刘景泰教授、孙雷教授教授共同组成了南开大学机器人所“机器人与智能系统”研究团队,与韩建达教授、于宁波教授、张娟娟教授、秦岩丁副教授组成了南开大学机器人所“医疗与辅助机器人”研究团队,共同进行研究生招生与培养。课题组与机器人所其他教师也有长期、深入的科研合作关系。
